Gray ptfe tape for Stainless Steel anti-seize is thicker and heavier tape. it's easy to apply and creates a more effective seal with less tape. Gray teflon tape is manufactured from PTFE resin mixed with a small amount of gay solvent. The gray color is easy for users to distinguish purpose.
